I was intrigued by the description of Tajik given by many people. So today I have the opportunity to meet a Tajik family up close and personal. They are Persian-speaking people of Iranian origin. They have built and facial features of typical European. And they are really friendly. This man actually open and hold the plastic curtain so that I could photograph him and his family. Thank you very much, Sir.
The main minorities group staying in and around Lake Karakul are Uighur and Tajik. Both are Muslims minorities group in China, living mainly in Xinjiang province.
This photo was taken near the first checkpost at the wine-red sandstone walls at Ghez River. The 3 Uighur siblings were seen looking at the many tourist buses that stopped at a tea house just opposite of their home. The little boy was really cute and naughty and we even went into their home’s compound to meet their mother.
